Introducing The World’s Only ‘Smart Detect’ Electric Wire Closer

The new Flexicloser electric wire closer by Akiles automatically detects the size of your wires – any size – any pitch. It will close Twin Loop, Double-O, Double Loop, Spiral-O and Wire Combs with ease.  Thanks to its Smart Detect system – the size of the wire is detected from the magnetic alignment back plate surface – it holds wires in place for perfect wire bound booklets every time and it closes to the correct diameter without needing time-consuming setup! The operation is extremely simple and fast. Begin by turning on the machine’s power switch.

Insert a test wire against the magnetic back plate — centered left to right, standing upright.

Press the start button to begin the closing cycle.

The Flexicloser auto-detetcts the wire diameter you’re using and closes or crimps down to the appropriate size.

Once the closing cycle completes, remove the wire and inspect it for a tight closure.

If additional closing is needed, press the minus button to lower the closing bar and make a tighter closure. Test again. Continue adjusting one press at a time.

If the wire is closed too tight, then press the plus button to raise the closing bar.

When the micro-adjustments are done, suspend the wire’s larger loops on the Flexicloser’s front wire hanger.

Thread your booklet pages onto the wire’s teeth starting with the last page down, first page facing up, followed by the front cover, then the back cover flipped around — inside facing up. This hides the seem once the wire is closed.

Remove the booklet from the wire hanger & place the wire against the magnetic closing plate with the wire standing up.

Press the start button to close the wire.

Once the closing cycle is complete, remove your booklet and flip the back cover around to the rear and your booklet is done.
