Joe’s Question Corner: Are Cerlox Combs The Same As Plastic Combs?

Q: “We have a GBC binding machine and were told we needed Cerlox bindings. Will your plastic comb bindings work?”

A: Absolutely. “Cerlox” is a brand name of plastic comb binding by a company called GBC (like “Band Aid” is for adhesive bandages). Our plastic comb bindings are the same 19 or 24 ring configuration as the Cerlox brand, the only difference is the manufacturer (and we don’t have a fancy name for it). Our plastic combs are sourced from a respected manufacturer with over 75 year of binding experience that has very high standards for quality. With warehouses spread throughout the US, you can usually expect your plastic combs to arrive in 1-3 days.
