Are 4-Prong Velo Binding Strips Copatible With 11-Prong Machines?

A frequent question we get is, “How can I get my 4 prong Velo binding strips to work with the more popular 11-prong hole pattern?” Well, the answer is just insert the 4 prongs into the 11-hole pattern and you’ll find that they do work. The 4-prong strips are designed to insert into the outer 2 holes at the bottom and top of your punched 11 inch documents. There’s no need to worry about the extra, empty holes showing as the body of the Velo Strips covers them up completely.

To save time that you would normally consume by punching your documents, perhaps consider using pre-punched paper and pre-punched covers. In short, don’t worry if you have a back stock of 4-prong strips, they will still work just fine. As a matter of fact, we will be adding 4-prong Velo Binding Strips from GBC in just a few days!
