Q: “ We have a Challenge Paper Drill, but the bits we have been ordering seem to be too big. We have to adjust the height so high that everything just blows out the back of the drill. We have been ordering the Challenge “Style A” drill bits, what can we do?”
A: Odds are you just need a different length bit. We supply two different length “Style A” bits for the Challenge Drills. Firstly, if this is a single spindle drill, more than likely you have an older JO or JF model drill that uses a 2” capacity drill bit. The Challenge EH series, MS series and HandyDrill models all use a 2.5” capacity bit and that sounds like what you’re ordering. Simply measure the length of the bit’s shaft and check you drill for its Model ID and you should be good to go. You could go one step further and just order a new drill…. just kidding of course.
